T-Mobile unveiled the webConnect USB Laptop Stick, first-ever 3G networking adapter.The WebConnect USB laptop stick offers tri-band 3G connectivity (HSDPA/UMTS 1900/AWS/2100), and compatible with GPRS/EDGE networks. AT&T has confirmed that it will begin contract-free iPhone 3G sales beginning next week at the same $599/$699 pricepoint as the first-generation model.The new phones will still be “locked” to AT&T and won’t work with any other cellular carrier unless they’re modified.
