The past several months Samsung has been releasing some of the best phones to the market. After the success of Samsung Omnia and Omnia II – along with Samsung Jet, Genio, and of course Galaxy – a new flagship handset has just been introduced to the market. What we are talking about is the recently released Samsung Wave, a handset that will certainly create a huge stir in the mobile world.

Samsung Wave no longer uses Windows Mobile as its based operating system. Instead, it uses Samsung’s latest blend of mobile operating system called Bada. Paired with the latest TouchWiz 3D 3.0 user interface, this new operating system offers superb user-friendliness and amazingly fluid interface you will certainly enjoy.

The new operating system is not the only thing that impresses everyone. Samsung Wave also uses Super AMOLED display. The display is superbly crisp and bright images even from unusual viewing angles. It also features super fast response even compared to handsets using basic AMOLED screen such as the HTC Desire.

To make this handset even better, Samsung installed a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, face detection, smile shot and 4x digital zoom. It also has a wealth of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and even a TV-Out port. Quite impressive isn’t it?

The only downside of this handset is its lack of support for higher speed data connection. The data connectivity is capped at 3G and not HSDPA or HSPA+. Still, this is one superb flagship phone from Samsung you will certainly enjoy using.
