AT&T and Samsung are going to reveal a new touchscreen phone, named Solstice (SGH-A887), on 2 August. The Solstice is a compact touch phone with a easy-to-use, polished design and social networking features. The Samsung Solstice packs a 3-inch touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera, support for dual-band 3G and quad-band GSM network, Bluetooth and built-in media player. The entry-level touchscreen phone supports microSD up to 16GB. It features Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and includes widgets for Facebook, MySpace and Yahoo! oneSearch. T-Mobile UK releases the HTC Hero Android phone in the UK as the G2 Touch (shouldn’t it be G3?). The version offered by T-Mobile UK is the Black one. UK consumers can get the phone for FREE with a £35/month plan with a 18-month contract. The Hero/G2 Touch is the HTC’s third Android phone. HTC officially announced the Hero that is the company’s third Android smartphone (the G3). The Hero is boosted by Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz processor. It has 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM good for the rest of HTC phones.In my opinion is a cool smarthphone like others cool gadgets, but this one is the first Android phone to ship with support for Adobe Flash. The Hero has a 3.2-inch 320×480 touchscreen LCD display, a trackball with enter button, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera and integrated GPS receiver.
