The first images of the forthcoming Sprint version of the HTC Hero have been revealed on a Chinese blog.

The Sprint variant of the Hero will dispense with the reference design language of the GSM version and follow HTC’s more conservative and current designs.

In terms of technical specifications the device features nearly identical specifications to the GSM version save for the radio supporting EVDO Rev A. instead of GSM/UMTS with a 528 MHz processor, 288 MB of ROM, 512 MB of RAM, 3.5mm headphone jack, 5.0 megapixel camera with auto focus and video recorder, along with Android.
